Things to consider before contacting us
Good and informative discussion
As estate agents it is our job to provide you with all the information needed. Therefore we would like to start our discussion with you early so that you are well-prepared for the Turkish property market.
Plenty of opportunities
The property market is huge and the number of possibilities almost endless. In order to make the most out of our discussion you should consider what you are looking for before you contact us.
Consider questions such as::
Type- Apartment, penthouse or villa?
Size- How many square metres do I need? Do I want one, two or more bedrooms? How many bathrooms?
Situation- Clear sea and mountain views or a cosy home in the town centre close to everything?
Price level- How much do I want to invest?
Purpose- Private use, renting out or investment?
Facilities- Is a pool sufficient or am I looking for more activities, e.g. for the children?
Having considered these questions, your property hunt should be much clearer and significantly easier for you.
Difference in mentality
When contacting 2Base or other Estate Agents in Turkey it is very important that you do not just accept all the answers you are first given! The estate agent business is service based and is therefore willing to go a long way to satisfy you and to close the deal.
In general you will quickly discover that the answer ”no” is not usually given by people in Turkey – even if the person in question lacks the power to fulfil the request!
Remember to ask questions
In order to determine whether the person really is capable of living up to the answer ”yes”, you must therefore remember also to ask ”how?”Does the company for example have staff whose only task it is to go shopping for your home, to rent out your home or to give service after purchasing? What are the agent’s procedures when it comes to handing over the property, correction of any defects and the administration of your home after purchase?
No more empty promises
This quest for information does not just provide you with the data required but also helps you identify agents who promise a whole lot more than they are actually able to give.We look forward to hearing from you and answering all your questions in a full and thorough manner – even if one of the answers should turn out to be ”no”…
Good luck in your quest for information!
